After 10 Seasons, Chelsea Houska Leaves Teen Mom 2

Image
Chelsea Houska is exiting MTV's Teen Mom 2, the reality series she's starred on since 2011. The 16 and Pregnant alum has gotten married and welcomed two children while on the show.  The 30-year-old, who has starred on the MTV series since its debut in 2011, is leaving at the end of the current 10th season, a source confirmed to E! News. While Chelsea has not commented publicly on her upcoming departure, her father Randy Houska seemingly confirmed the news in a tweet, writing, "Well kids, that's a wrap. Been a fun run on @MTV @TeenMom #teenmom2." "What's next?" he continued. "Seriously, tho, it has been a part of @ChelseaHouska entire adult life. We all expanded our horizons and grew as people #NoRegrets See ya all on the flip side." Since the show's premiere, viewers have followed along from a front-row seat as Chelsea raised her now-10-year-old daughter Aubree with ex Adam Lind, met and eventually married Cole DeBoer and became a m

Trump era showed us the highest economic contraction in more than 80 years

Image
Trump will try to promote a "recovery" this weekend. But the new numbers are merely a "bounce" from the biggest economic contraction ever recorded and the highest unemployment rate in more than 80 years. The economy has not "recovered." The virus is still out of control. Claim: President Trump sais he built the greatest ever US economy prior to the coronavirus outbreak. Fact : The US economy has been hit by the biggest economic contraction ever recorded and the highest unemployment rate in more than 80 years.  During his first three years in office, President Trump oversaw an annual average growth of 2.5%. The last three years of the Obama administration saw a similar level of growth (2.3%) along with a significantly higher figure (5.5%) in mid-2014.

As Trump falls short on Biden, His new target is Kamala Harris

Image
President Trump doesn't have Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama to kick around anymore. So he's directing his rhetorical daggers at Kamala Harris. Stubbornly behind in the national and battleground state polls, Trump has increasingly tailored his message towards his base – mainly white men, especially while males without a college degree, a voter demographic Trump won heavily in 2016. And that means more warnings of the "other," a female or racial minority threatening political power long held by white men. That was an easy task when Clinton was the 2016 nominee – especially since the former senator from New York was hoping to follow the nation's first Black president in office. But after the Democrats – despite being offered the most diverse group of primary candidates in the party's history – nominated a septuagenarian white man, Trump's saber-rattling has turned to Sen. Kamala Harris of California. He's called her a "monster" and a "comm

Pence’s top aide on the White House coronavirus task force votes for Biden. Find out Why

Olivia Troye who served as Vice-President Mike Pence’s adviser for homeland security until late July, came up with a scorching video, in which she denounced President Donald Trump and his stewardship of the country during the coronavirus pandemic.  President Trump’s response to the coronavirus pandemic showed a “flat-out disregard for human life” because his “main concern was the economy and his reelection,” according to Troye. Troye said that the administration’s response cost lives and that she will vote for Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden this fall because of her experience in the Trump White House. “The president’s rhetoric and his own attacks against people in his administration trying to do the work, as well as the promulgation of false narratives and incorrect information of the virus have made this ongoing response a failure,” she said. Yet again, a Black man shot dead by police in Philadelphia

Image
Police in Philadelphia shot and killed a Black man on Monday, triggering protests that saw at least 30 officers injured. Police said they shot Walter Wallace Jr., 27, after responding to a call about a man armed with a knife. The responding officers ordered Wallace “several times” to drop the knife and he continued to “advance towards” them, according to a statement.  They then fired their weapons “multiple times,” shooting him in the chest and shoulder, and he was pronounced dead at the hospital just after 4 p.m., the statement added. A video capturing the incident and posted on social media showed him walking near two police officers with their guns drawn. The police officers appear to shout at Wallace to put down a knife. It is not known what occurred before the recording began. “I have watched the video of this tragic incident and it presents difficult questions that must be answered,” Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney said in a statement. Muslim world condemns France over treatment of Islam

Image
The backlash over French President Emmanuel Macron’s critique of Islam has intensified after Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan questioned his counterpart’s mental health, while Muslims in several countries are demanding a boycott of France. Marking his second sharp criticism against Macron in two days, Erdogan said on Sunday that the French president had “lost his mind”, prompting France’s foreign minister to recall the country’s ambassador in Ankara. The French debate on Islam was deepened after the beheading of a teacher who had shown caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad – previously published by a satirical magazine – in a class on freedom of expression. Muslims believe that any depiction of the Prophet is blasphemous. On Friday, the cartoons were projected onto government buildings in France. Earlier this month, Macron described Islam as a religion “in crisis” worldwide and vowed to present a bill in December to strengthen a law that officially separated church and state in F

Putin expresses his willingness to work with Biden if elected as President

Image
Russian President Vladimir Putin said he’s aware Joe Biden has made sharp anti-Russian statements, but is open to working with him if he’s elected president, citing that the Democratic Party shares many of his ideals.   Putin also said on Sunday that he saw nothing criminal in Hunter Biden’s past business ties with Ukraine or Russia, marking out his disagreement with one of Donald Trump’s attack lines in the US presidential election. Putin was responding to comments made by Trump during televised debates with Democratic challenger Joe Biden ahead of the November 3 election. Trump, who is trailing in opinion polls, has used the debates to make accusations that Biden and his son Hunter engaged in unethical practices in Ukraine, while no evidence has been verified to support the allegations. Putin added that he believes the Democratic party espouses ideals closer aligned to the politics of Europe. “The Democratic Party is traditionally closer to the so-called liberal values, close

Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner's Lawyer threaten to sue the Lincoln Project group

Image
Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner have threatened to sue The Lincoln Project over the billboards they erected in New York City's Times Square that associates them with the Trump administration’s failed COVID-19 response. On Thursday, the political group - comprising of former Republicans - unveiled two giant billboards which showed Ivanka Trump and her husband 'smiling' over COVID deaths. The first ad features Ivanka grinning as she raises her hands and gestures towards two separate coronavirus death tolls.        The second billboard shows Kushner beaming as he stands next to a quote which reads: '[New Yorkers] are going to suffer and that's their problem.'     On Friday, Ivanka and Jared's lawyer, Marc Kasowitz, penned a letter to The Lincoln Project and its members, including Kellyanne Conway's husband George, threatening to file a lawsuit if the ads were not taken down.  'Of course, Mr. Kushner never made any such statement, Ms. Trump never ma

Watch what Bibi said to Trump when Trump started self praising

After announcing the normalization agreement between Israel and Sudan on on Friday, October 23, 2020, President Trump called his best friend Bibi to start self praise, but he was left stunned on how Bibi responded. Here is a portion of their conversation: Trump: They’re also poor. Iran is poor. Hamas is poor. They’re all poor. And they weren’t poor three years ago. They were blowing everything up. They’re very poor. Do you think Sleepy Joe could have made this deal, Bibi? Sleepy Joe. I think — do think he would had made this deal? Somehow, I don’t think so. Netanyahu: Well, Mr. President, one thing I can tell you is we appreciate the help for peace from anyone in America. And we appreciate what you’ve done enormously. Trump: Yeah. Netanyahu: We appreciate very much what you’ve done. Trump: Yeah. Even Netanyahu being Trump's best friend is not sure weather he will remain in the White House or not. Poor Trump...! Vote Smart Election Day is close.

Rohingya Conference must focus on a permanent solution, not just funding

Image
Repatriation or permanent settlements should take precedence over spending money to prolong the status quo for Rohingya refugees around the world. Today international donors from the US, EU, UK and UN will meet to discuss humanitarian aid for more than one million Rohingya refugees, many of whose situation has worsened due to the pandemic. But the premise of the conference is a misdirected one: the Rohingya I have met and worked closely with in Bangladesh do not want 'aid' - they want a home, ideally their home in Myanmar. Rather than endless humanitarian spending sprees, the international community must focus on pressuring Myanmar to ensure the safe return and the civil rights of one of the world’s most vulnerable communities. Failing that, asylum should be granted in the US, EU or even rich Muslim-majority nations in an expression of Islamic solidarity. The world cannot continue to lean on Bangladesh - itself a densely populated developing country - to shoulder the burden a

Research: US COVID-19 deaths will probably hit 500,000 by February

Image
The death toll from COVID-19 in the United States could exceed 500,000 by February unless nearly all Americans wear face masks, researchers said on Friday, as the country set a new single-day record for new cases. The latest estimate by the widely cited University of Washington’s Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME) reflects concern that cold winter weather will drive Americans indoors, where the coronavirus spreads more easily, particularly in confined, poorly-ventilated spaces.   Some 84,218 people were diagnosed with COVID-19 across the United States on Friday, according to a Reuters tally, breaking the single-day record of 77,299 that was set on July 16. Only India has reported more cases in a single day: 97,894, on September 17. “We are heading into a very substantial fall/winter surge,” said IHME director Chris Murray, who co-led the research. The number of possible deaths could drop by 130,000 if 95 percent of Americans covered their faces, the IHME said, echoi

Jennifer Aniston Voted for Joe Biden, Here's Why

Image
Jennifer Aniston has officially sent in her mail-in ballot. The actress posted a series of photos of herself voting by mail on Friday, as well as sharing why she decided to vote for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. In her message, Aniston explains that she voted for the Democratic nominees "because right now this country is more divided than ever. Right now, a few men in power are deciding what women can and can’t do with their own bodies." She added that Donald Trump "has decided that racism is a non-issue. He has repeatedly and publicly ignored science... too many people have died." Aniston then urged her followers to "really consider who is going to be most affected by this election if we stay on the track we’re on right now... your daughters, the LGBQT+ community, our Black brothers and sisters, the elderly with health conditions, and your future kids and grandkids (who will be tasked with saving a planet that our leadership refuses to believe is hurting).&qu

Countries are on a dangerous track of coronavirus; says WHO

Image
The World Health Organization (WHO) has said that too many countries are witnessing an exponential increase in coronavirus cases, while the northern hemisphere is facing a crucial moment in fighting the coronavirus pandemic. The warning from WHO on Friday came as the number of coronavirus cases more than doubled in 10 days across Europe, with several southern European countries reporting their highest daily case numbers this week.   Meanwhile, the United States recorded its highest single-day rise in infections – more than 70,000 – since July on Thursday amid concerns of a “third wave” of COVID-19 gripping the worst-affected country in the world.  “We are at a critical juncture in the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly in the Northern Hemisphere,” WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus told a news conference. “The next few months are going to be very tough and some countries are on a dangerous track.” The novel coronavirus has infected nearly 42 million people and killed at l

Final Debate; Trump and Biden's two different opinions on America

Image
President Donald Trump and his Democratic rival, Joe Biden, faced off in a more cordial debate on Thursday night just week ahead of the Election, where they presented the nation with sharply divergent views of where they would take the country over the next four years. For 90 minutes, they attacked each other’s positions on controlling the coronavirus and curbing the continual advance of the country’s world-leading death toll of more than 222,000. They argued over health care, wages for low-income workers, crime, race relations in the U.S., climate change and leadership in the White House.  In the end, Trump said he deserved a second term in the White House because “success is going to bring us together. We had the best economy” before the coronavirus pandemic hit the country in early 2020 and that he would restore the world’s biggest economy. But he claimed that if Biden wins, “You’ll have a depression like no one’s seen.” Biden, a fixture on the American political scene for nearly
