Abdullah al Awdah questions justice in Saudi Arabia

The Saudi government has a strong desire to eliminate all domestic forces and voices that advocate for human rights, and it has become customary to criminalize every voice making a demand or a criticism.

Because of the flaws in the judicial system and the inability to mount a true legal defence, activists children living abroad speak up against the plight of their parents in Saudi Jails.

Following is the video of Abdullah al Awdah, son of prominent Saudi preacher and activist Salman al Awdah, who talks about the plight of his father in jail and questions Saudi judicial system.

Twitter suspends Trump's account permanently

  Twitter on Friday evening permanently suspended President Donald Trump's account, citing "the risk of further incitement of violence." The dramatic move, robbing the outgoing commander in chief of one of his most potent tools of communication, came after Twitter put Trump on a 12-hour suspension. That step was taken in the aftermath of a mob of Trump's supporters storming Capitol Hill on Wednesday as legislators certified President-elect Joe Biden's election victory. Trump held a rally for his supporters earlier that afternoon. Zelenskyy ‘not afraid’ after Putin’s moves

Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said his countrymen ‘are not afraid’ after Russia moved to recognise the independence of two breakaway regions in eastern Ukraine and hours later said it would deploy troops there to “maintain peace”. An urgent meeting of the United Nations Security Council took place on the deepening Ukraine crisis as the US said the announcement by Russian President Vladimir Putin was an “unprovoked violation of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity”. Western countries have repeatedly warned Russia not to officially recognise the separatist regions in Donetsk and Luhansk. Russia has been massing its forces around Ukraine’s borders for weeks, raising concern among the US and other Western governments that it might be planning to invade the country.
